Rhodes Enterprises unveiled this morning their new retail and commercial development within their Master Planned Community., scheduled to open in the Spring of 2022, will consist of six buildings with over 70,000 square‑feet of leasable commercial and retail space. At the projects official groundbreaking today, Rhodes Enterprises President & CEO, Nick Rhodes, shared with the public the overall plans for their development. “We are excited to announce today that Rhodes Enterprises is going to develop a Class A retail and commercial center within our beautiful Tres Lagos Master Planned community. There will be future phases that will bring additional retail and commercial spaces in the years ahead,” Rhodes stated. The first phase of will consist of three separate buildings. One of the three buildings (Building B) will be fully occupied by Rhodes Enterprises home building division,, and will serve as the firm’s new design center. It will provide Esperanza Homes with a centralized location where customers will go to and be able to select their personal customizations from tile and appliances to paint colors. In addition to Esperanza Homes leasing all of Building B, Nick Rhodes announced that South Texas Health SystemClinics will be leasing over 6,900 square‑feet in Building C to launch their facility. “We are very excited to have such a respected health care provider like South Texas Health System Clinics establish a facility in the heart of the Tres Lagos community.” Rhodes stated. At the groundbreaking, banners and renderings were unveiled showing the outstanding designs of the overall retail center. Rhodes CEO Nick Rhodes led company officials in the ceremonial “turning of dirt” signifying the launch of the construction project. Speaking at the groundbreaking, Rhodes added; “The Tres Lagos Master Planned Community development is one of the greatest communities in all of the Rio Grande Valley. We believe building retail space within Tres Lagos will only add to the master planned community’s continued success and expansion.” Rhodes added he looks forward to announcing additional new tenants as leases are signed.
